The Internet is enormous. There are billions of resources online. Finding the information you need takes time, patience, and understanding. First, you must understand what information is available online and how to access it. Google is arguably the largest search engine available. It searches millions of websites, and yet it searches a small percentage of the information available online. Before starting your research, take time to think about your topic and the kind of information you need. You may find that the best information for your research may come from books or articles.

 

Publishing information to the Internet is very easy. Anyone can publish anything he/she likes, and there are no guidelines or review processes. Because of this, you want to be sure to evaluate the information you find.
