Where do I get my NSCC ID?

Come to either campus Library:

Danvers, DB 244, 2nd floor of Berry building
Lynn, LE 127, 1st floor of the McGee building

When can I get my ID?

Anytime the library is open. Our hours can be found here. Be sure to come at least 10 minutes before the Library closes!

What do I need to bring?

For students: government issued photo ID and proof of enrollment. We strongly recommend downloading the Navigate app on your smartphone to indicate that you are enrolled, as you will also find it useful during your time at NSCC. iPhone users click here. Android users click here.

For faculty & staff: government issued photo ID and proof of employment (for example, a recent pay stub).

Library Cards

Your NSCC ID is your library card and is valid as long as you are enrolled or employed by NSCC. A few quick facts:

  • IDs are for NSCC students, faculty, and staff only, and are issued by the Library.
  • Students taking distance courses can access all of the library's online resources without their NSCC ID.

For non-NSCC students and community members:

  • Students from other colleges within the HELM system may use their college IDs to borrow library materials. Materials issued to those cards are the responsibility of the card owner.
  • Public patrons and NSCC alumni will not be able to borrow items directly from the NSCC libraries, but library staff can assist with locating borrowing options.
