Library hours during COVID-19

The NSCC Library is open online! Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the Libraries are closed but you can still access our resources and get help from a Librarian online. If you are having trouble accessing a resource or finding what you need let us know. We are here to help!

Our Online Reference service is available Monday-Thursday 8 am to 8 pm and Friday 8 am to 4 pm.

Book an appointment with a Librarian for more in-depth help.

The Tutoring Center

  • Stuck on a math problem? We can help!
  • Need help getting started on a paper? Yes, we do that, too!
  • Want to brush up on your study or computer skills? This is the place to be!
  • Referred by an instructor for help with specific skills? Check!
  • Looking for online help? NSCC offers online tutoring from ThinkingStorm. If you are a student at NSCC, this service is free to you.

Accessing Library Resources Off Campus

Access to many of the database links on this guide requires NSCC authentication - users must sign in with their My Northshore (formerly NSCC Pipeline) username & password

If you want to place any library materials on hold, request a book from another library, or check out any physical library materials out you will need to have your NSCC ID card.

Stop by the Student Life Office in Danvers (DB 132) or Lynn (LW 171) with a current class schedule and a picture ID to get an NSCC ID.
