Off campus access of databases
In order to access library resources off campus you must be a currently enrolled student or a staff/ faculty member of NSCC. To access databases off campus, you will be prompted to log in via MyNorthShore.
Information for distance learners
A NSCC ID also serves as a library card. If a student is only taking distance courses and does not plan on traveling to campus, there is no need to have an NSCC ID for library use. Off campus database access and eBook access is authenticated using a MyNorthShore username and password.
