Local history material in libraries is often not available to be checked out. You may need to visit the owning library to see the material in their collection.
If you would like to have a book transferred from one campus library to another, speak to a library staff member for assistance.

Newspapers can be a good source for information on your place because they cover local and regional topics.

For archival newspaper holdings, including local town or city papers, access may require visiting the local library and using their microform collections.
