Librarians are available to assist faculty and students in these core support areas during the library closure and move to remote learning. We are ready and eager to help.

Content Building and Course Reserves

Librarians will help faculty to identify online textbooks, electronic library content, OER content, or free online content to use for course material. For quick reference, these links may be useful:

Instructional Services

  • Librarians are available for instruction services through a variety of modalities to support course or assignment research. These include:
    • Offering virtual library instruction via BlackBoard Collaborate, Zoom, or any other virtual meeting platform
    • Creating course, assignment or program/subject online guides known as LibGuides 
    • Recording research video tutorials and/or creating handouts that can be incorporated into your course

Research Services and Citation Assistance

Online reference and research support is available for students 8 am to 8 pm Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 4 pm on Friday, and Saturday by appointment (email library@northshore.edu to book an appointment on Saturdays)
