NSCC students, faculty, and staff can print from any computer in the library. Printing is free for the NSCC community.
There are flatbed scanners available for student use at both the Danvers library (DB-224) and the Lynn library (LE-127). The scanners can scan documents up to 8” x 11” in size. For NSCC student, faculty, and staff use only.
There are headphones available, both with and without microphones, for loan at both the Danvers and Lynn campus Libraries. They are due back by closing of that day. Ask a staff member at the desk if interested.
TI-83, TI-83+, and TI-84+ graphing calculators are available to be checked out for the semester by NSCC students, staff, and faculty on a first come, first serve basis. Graphing calculators can be requested using the NSCC TI-84 Calculator request form. There will also be a limited number of calculators available to loan at both the Lynn and Danvers campus libraries. Calculators loaned during the Fall 2022 semester will be due back on December 22, 2022.
Failure to return the calculator will result in a block being added to the user's library account until the calculator is returned or the loan is otherwise resolved. If a calculator is misplaced, the user will be responsible for the replacement cost of $100.
At each library there are various chargers and charging cables for laptops, phones, and tablets. Items can be charged using a computer USB port or when used in conjunction with a PowerPort, can be charged using a wall outlet. Ask a library staff member for assistance. These are items are for library use only and are due back by closing.
Each library has available an anatomical skeleton model with a rolling stand. The Danvers Library has a male skeleton model available and the Lynn Library has a female skeleton model available. They can be checked out for two hours at a time and are for library use only. For NSCC student, faculty, and staff use only and require an NSCC ID to be borrowed..
Each library has available a monitor with Solstice Wireless Display software. Solstice is a wireless collaboration solution that supports BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) content sharing to the main screen of the monitor in the room. For NSCC student, faculty, and staff use only.
