Off Campus Access: Login to North Shore Community College Library electronic resources with your MyNorthshore account username and password.
Library Card and Account: Your NSCC ID is your library card and must be used to borrow library materials. Off site library use and access to your NSCC library account require a login. Your library account username is the 14 digit barcode on your NSCC ID beginning with 21991. Your library account password is your birthday in the following format MMDDYYYY.
In Advanced Search, narrow by Item Type: usually "Books" and "Articles"
Literary Source Type filters are available: Critical Essay and Biography. If asked for a single password when logging in off-campus to Literature Resource Center, enter in the barcode number on your student ID.
Literary Sources Type filters are available: Literary Criticism and Biography
Search books in this collection by title of literary work. Then browse individual book results by table of contents to explore literary essays.
Search for online articles, books and ebooks across all NSCC resources using Ebsco's Discovery Search
In the Refine Results column, try Limit by Source Type: Click on the "Show More" link to limit by multiple source types and select Academic Journals, Books and Ebooks. "Exclude Book Reviews" if appropriate.
