Sociology 106 with Prof. Marin - Library Instruction - Part 2

By now you have had a chance to explore your topics and develop a research question or problem you would like to research. In this "Library Session" (Guide) we will look at the processes and resources you will need to understand and use to successfully complete the research project for this class. 

This guide is designed to take you through the steps to research your topic. Using the menu on the left, go through the instruction in the order presented. In some sections, you will have a choice between reading about a topic or watching a video on it. Choose the method that you prefer.

There are 3 Activities included in this guide. These are Google forms asking you to identify types of sources and strategies and sources for your own research. Please, make every effort to complete these activities they are designed to give you opportunities to practice what is covered in this section.
