Additionally, 13 states are holding elections for state Governors. In Massachusetts, the governorship is not up for election in 2020. The next gubernatorial election in MA will be in 2022.

Massachusetts does not offer day-of voter registration, you must be properly registered before the deadline to vote in the upcoming elections.

Due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, Massachusetts has taken actions to make voting safe and accessible for MA voters during the 2020 elections. This includes extending the voter registration deadline. MA voters must be registered to vote 10 days before the election.
