SPE 102 Speech - Greene: Citing Your Sources

Easybib & Google Docs

Creating Your Works Cited List

Create your Works Cited list using Easybib, our online citation management software. You can easily enter your sources and generate a properly formatted Works Cited page using Google Docs or Word. Watch this short video to see how.

Why must you cite your sources?

Citing the sources that you used for your paper is necessary:

  • to prove that the sources you used are reliable and accurate.
  • avoid plagiarism. It is illegal to use someone else's work without giving them credit. See NSCC plagiarism policy, this page.

There are a number of formats to use for a works cited page, including MLA, APA.
