SPE102 - Speech - Burt, Arthur: Home

This research guide is designed to help you find current information about the issues that are appearing in the news and on the Internet. For information of this type it is important to be aware of the date of publication of the source. Magazines, journals, and newspapers, because they are published more often, are more a more important category for this type of research than are books. The best way to find this type of information is to use our library databases.

Databases are collections of articles from magazines, journals, newspapers, and sometimes books, that have been converted to electronic format for access via the Internet. Databases may be general in subject, or may be composed of information about a specific subject. To start using our databases, use the tab above for "SnapSearch".

Current Issues

Information concerning issues that are newsworthy, and/or controversial is an important part of our world. Reliable information about these issues is important in forming our opinions about the world around us.

If you want to place any library materials on hold, request a book from another library, or check out any physical library materials out you will need to have your NSCC ID.

Your NSCC ID card number is the 14-digit number beginning with 21991 on the bottom of your NSCC student ID. How do I activate my NSCC ID for Library use?

Your ID is activated once your classes start.

I am getting a barcode invalid login error.

I am getting a cookies error message, what does that mean?
