Community Patrons

Community patrons are welcome to use the NSCC libraries, following these guidelines:

Computers:
Community patrons may use the library premises, assistance, services and equipment with the understanding that NSCC students, staff and faculty have first priority. Community patrons are limited to 30 minutes on the computers and may be asked to yield their computer if students or staff are waiting. Printing is available from any computer in the library. Charges are $.10 for black and white, and $.25 for color. Community patrons may set up an online printing account or pay with cash at the circulation desk. Please ask a Library staff member for assistance before printing. For more information, please see the Computer Use Policy.

Borrowing privileges:
Any patron with a NOBLE library card or other Massachusetts public library card may borrow items from our library. Interlibrary loan service outside the NOBLE system should be obtained through the patron's public library.

Behavior:
NSCC requires appropriate library behavior. All children must be accompanied by and supervised by an adult. Patrons who exhibit inappropriate behavior and/or disturb students, staff or faculty will be asked to leave the library and may be barred from future use of the library. Please see Guidelines for Conduct Policy and Unattended Children Policy.
