North Shore Community College Library is opened to community patrons to use the materials and services of the library, with several provisos.
People with a NOBLE library card or other Massachusetts public library card may borrow books from our library. A total of 6 books may be checked out to the patron's library card. Books may be renewed once.
Community patrons may use the premises, assistance, and services with the understanding that NSCC students, staff and faculty have first priority. Community patrons may use the computers, word processing, and Internet when they are not being used by NSCC faculty, staff and students. Community patrons are limited to 30 minutes on the computers and may be asked to leave if students need the computer.
Please see the Computer Use Policy.
You can print from any computer in the library. Community patrons are responsible for paying for all printouts, which are $.10 per non-color page and $.25 per color page. Community patrons may set up an online printing account or pay with cash at the circulation desk. We encourage users to ask a staff member for assistance before printing.
Interlibrary loan service should be obtained through the patron's public library.
Anyone who enters the Library must exhibit appropriate library behavior. All children must be accompanied by and supervised by an adult. People who exhibit inappropriate behavior and/or disturb students, staff or faculty will be asked to leave the library and may be barred from future use of the library. Please see Guidelines for Conduct Policy and Unattended Children Policy.
