How Do I...

Get a library card?

The NSCC Library uses your public library card. If you do not have one, stop by the circulation desk in Lynn or Danvers and ask a library staff member for assistance.

Use the NSCC library on campus?

We are open to the public and accept NOBLE public library cards. If you do not have a public library card, please stop at the circulation desk and ask a library staff member for assistance. You may sign in as a guest to use a computer.

Request materials from the NSCC library?

You can request items online. You must have a current NOBLE public library card and a Personal Identification Number (PIN). In the NOBLE Catalog click on "Log into my account" and follow the directions.

Return materials?

You can return materials borrowed from the NSCC libraries to any NOBLE library.

Access the NSCC library from home?

Community patrons can access the library catalog from home by going to the NSCC library web page. To access the databases from home you must be a currently enrolled student or a staff member with an activated NSCC ID.

Find articles?

Community patrons may access magazine and journal articles using the NSCC Library's databases only when they are in the library. Librarians are available for help in using the databases.

Use the Peabody Essex Museum pass?

We have passes available at both the Lynn and Danvers Campus libraries for the Peabody Essex Museum. Each pass admits two adults. The museum does charge $5.00 per person with the pass. Each library has passes for specific days:
Danvers Campus Library passes: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday
Lynn Campus Library passes: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

You must have your library card to pick up the pass at the library. We do not mail it. We suggest that you reserve the pass if you want it for a specific date. The pass can be reserved at the library circulation desk, by phone (Danvers 978-739-5526, Lynn 781-477-2133) or email (nsb@noblenet.org).

Museum passes are checked out for three days. Fines accrue at $1.00 per day for an overdue pass.
